Even though Michael Cimarusti has departed, Water Grill maintains a standard which other restaurants could only dream of. Not a false note; appetizers are interesting, creative, beautiful and very complex. Main courses are interesting, mostly for their choices of rarities from the ocean. Desserts are flawless, service elegant. One of L.A.'s three top restaurants (the other ones being Bastide and Matsuhisa.)
