While in the Tricities WA area visiting my daughter and her family I wanted to take them to a nice restaurant serving Mexican food. What a disappointment to see that Isla Bonita is so highly rated. While the ambiance is delightful, the service is horrible right from the beginning. The food is avereage ""gringo-style"" Mexican-American food. Fast food tacos are better, the tamales are far from being homemade/ I found the chips, salsa, and guacamole to be quite authentic. Don't look for anything but average food in a nice setting with extremely poor service.
