Some Indian students at UTMB recommended this restaurant to me claiming it was authentic and enjoyable. I love spicy food and found this restaurant to possess exquisite quality food and a calming ambiance. I was surprised to find the place in a strip-mall, but once inside the place looked and felt great. I thought the piano was a bit loud for my taste, but the setting was romantic and not as busy as other fine restaurants Ive been to. I had lamb-curry in brown gravy (Gosht Madras) and my date had chicken-curry (Murgh Madras). Both were excellent and very spicy. The creamed spinach (Saag Paneer) made the meal so get the platter instead of just the entree. The wait staff seemed attentive and helpful, and the prices were outstanding for the high quality of food served.
