Had a wonderful experience at Julien celebrating an anniversary. For a romantic experience, request one of the tables with a booth where you and your partner can sit side-by-side. This makes a larger, elegant, formal dining room also seem quaint and romantic. We had the 8 course tasting dinner for $85/pp. Soup, tuna, sea bass, salad, duck, lamb, cheese, dessert, petit fours. All were excellent, very tasty. And the proportions were were significant - I'd say 75% of an entree. The service was wonderful. Several people are waiting on you, but the head waiter was very informed, but not pompous at all. He was very friendly. It's a nice ambience, with a piano playing gently in the background. It's one of the Best in Boston. Make sure to let them know it's a special occasion, and they will take care of you.
Pros: Romantic Booths, Great Food, Friendly Service
