After moving to CT from the south I was very disappointed with the lack of BBQ options. However once the Cookhouse opened in East Hartford my wife and I make at least one visit a month and gorge ourselves on some of the best BBQ you could imagine. The pulled pork and beef brisket they offer is beyond belief and is highly recommended with the scary or insane (if you are up to the challenge) sauces. Great atmosphere, beer, and service. You won't be disappointed.
