I moved to Boston this year and had heard great things about James Joseph Salon. I went for a cut twice with the same girl and each time I ended up with a bad cut. The first time I asked for a trim and she took off way more than necessary which basically changed the style of my hair. The second time it was thinned out too much on one side and too bulky on the other side. I have nothing against the salon (the staff was friendly and the decor is cool) and I'm sure other haircutters there are great but it just didn't work out for me. I recently tried out a different salon on Newbury that doesn't have the trendy decor but I found the best haircutter!
