Bob's Big Boy has been a hang out since the 50's. Those who were too cool for school would gather to show off their hot-rods and discover the latest auto mods everynight before and after cruising Van Nuys Boulevard in a parade of over-the-top lead sleds. The food is the same now as it was then: burgers and fries with shakes so thick they had to be eaten with a spoon. Bob's is the last of it's breed and a thowback to post-war Southern California.
