We were excited by the prospect of experiencing Flying Fish after hearing a positive review by a fellow passenger (native of Seattle) on our flight from NYC. The service was pleasant enough, as it tends to be in this rainy City. And we got a seat after 20 minutes wait, when told it was a 10 minute wait (no big surprise) on the Sunday before Memorial Day. But the food was just not up to snuff. The baby spinach salad my wife ordered consisted of overly mature spinach leaves. My lobster bisque was just too busy with too many flavors competing for my attention. Then my main dish, scallops with risotto, arrived. There were only three paltry scallops and the risotto tasted more like brown rice. The kitchen staff definitely needs to be upgraded. I was very disappointed at what turned out to be an expensive average meal.
Pros: Nice Staff, Pleasant atmosphere
Cons: , Expensive
