I have eaten at Villa Monte for years, and have experienced alot of their dishes. I have never had any complaints and I am shocked that for what it is, it was rated so low.
Let's admit that this place is a Pizzeria Restaurant, not a Restaurant exclusively. It is a great place for family sized eating, and very reasonably affordable. It has nice decor and has a friendly atmosphere. There is noise from chatting, and I would not say eat here on a first date because it is not intimate and romantic- but for other functions and meals, it is great!
I recommend it to couples looking for a place to eat, friends, and family. But like i said, do not expect a quiet intimate dinner in a dark restaurant.
