Five years ago, my family moved to Jacksonville from New England. Adjusting quickly to the accents and improper grammar, my sister and I found one thng lacking with our new home: good Italian. We tried Carraba's, Bucca de Beppo, and even resorted to Olive Garden. This year, we finally found a place that met our harsh standards. Mario's has the best Italian food I've had in the south, and can rival a few of the places up north, but it is the genuine, homey feeling that sets Italian restaurants apart. THe feeling that Mario's exudes. It's my favorite place to eat!
