Reasonably priced, I was pleasantly suprised by the atmosphere and tasty appetizers. Like the title says, Yamasaki is definitely ""new and different""... a beautiful fresco painting greets you as you enter the front door, but the food is a cross between fusion and straight Japanese cuisine. Interesting mix.
Lunchtime tends to be somewhat hectic, so I would recommend getting there early.
Finally, the only drawback is that sometimes the table next to me seems to be just listening to my conversations. It's a modestly sized restaurant, so I guess I'd rather be a little crowded than not being able to sit down.
Pros: Different, Appetizers, Reasonably priced
Cons: , Privacy
