Ann's is a great place to go for country-style fare - great chicken fried steak (or chicken), mashed potatoes and gravy, fried green tomatoes, fried apple bites, etc. The fact that this restaurant is a converted gas station, covered with 50's and 60's memorabilia creates a fun atmosphere for all ages. Could be even better if they added soda-fountain style drinks/desserts to the menu (i.e., shakes, floats, malts). Dining area is small, so not good for large groups.
