Recently had dinner at AOC for the third time. The food has gone down hill since its early days.
Was there a management change in the kitchen???
the dishes seem to be put together with no thought proccess and finished with butter, very amatuer. Some of the old favorites are still on the menu but watch out for the new stuff; Pork confit over a buttery mess of a gratin, Halibut over a buttery risoto finished with more butter, Vegetables finished with butter etc...
what happened to texture, balance, it all seems to have vanished
