That was the greeting that my wife, son and I received from our waiter after we were seated. I wondered if this is how lunch guests are welcomed at Le Bec-Fin, Georges Perriers restaurant in Philadelphia? (We were the guys throughout our meal.) Maybe Im a snob; Im not surprised to hear this in chain restaurants but at a fine dining establishment? But on to more serious matters - Lunch. The menu was varied and quite reasonable, with entrees averaging around $13.00. The shared Baked Gnocchi Parisienne with mushrooms was very good, as was the Salad Nicoise entree. The Baked Salmon over Wild Rice was very very light, helped along by using some of the horseradish mayonnaise that accompanied Georges Famous Cheese Steak (good but not as good as Jims Steaks on South Street !) For the above and 5 beers, the bill came to $75 before tip.
Pros: Nice setting, Resaonable lunch $$
