Moving to Tucson from the midwest, my husband and I had been in search of a quality steak restaurant in Tucson for quite a while. Some people recommended Pinnacle Peak (decent for the money) and Hidden Valley Inn (bland), among other restaurants. We were on the verge of forever grilling our own steaks, when we heard about McMahon's. We are now complete addicts (especially the steak christiani!) The food and service has always been impeccible, and the steaks are heaven. As social-pariahs (smokers), we love the bar! Initially we tried Sullivan's (also wonderful) but found the quality at McMahon's just as high, and the prices a tad lower. Valet parking also a plus.
Pros: The food!, The service!, The smoking bar!
