Le Jardin Francais is a quaint little French restaurant
that took over the historical house once occupied by the Veranda Tea Room in downtown Melbourne.
The food was wonderful when we tried it. However the service was extremely slow due to the lack of sufficient help. The owner and his wife were trying to run the show with just themselves and the chef.
They were also haveing problems with their A/C at the time. Hopefully things have gotten better with the A/C and they have hired some waiters.
Pros: great food, nice atmosphere, reasonable
Cons: , slow service, not for kids
