I love this place! I have lived and worked in Russia, and this is like a trip back to the old country. The outdoor, garden ambiance is peaceful and fun-- a bit like the Russian countryside with exotic chickens pecking here and there.
The beauty in this place is the authenticity. Russian food can be kind of oily and a little bland, but this is the real stuff. The GEM of Russian cuisine is, however, SOUP, and they have a phenominal borscht. For Russians, this is can be a home away from home, and for Americans, a great introduction to the simple pleasures of Russian cooking, and their outstanding soups.
This is also a great place to bring your out of town guests because it is just so darn unique. Your midwestern friends have never seen anything like it!
Pros: atmosphere!, authentic, SOUPS
