I had been to Dasaro three times before and I was always impressed by the quality of the food. So, when a friend suggested we meet there for dinner I was eager and happy. I started with a salad that was so overloaded with vinegar as to make eating it a mouth puckering contest. For the main plate I had chosen gnocci. The gnocci themselves were OK, not overcooked but they were soaked in a sauce that was extremely salty. To finish, expecting to at least leave with a good desert, I ordered the tiramisu. The tiramisu had the consistency of tapioca. Given that this restaurant is not cheap, I believe that the food was way under expectations. Maybe this was just one of their bad nights but I hesitate to go back and spend another $100 to find out if they can do better.
