The Russian Vodka Room is a great place to go for infused-vodka in NY. (A tip ? don?t confuse it for the Russian Samovar across the street. The owner gets a little touchy when you both figure out that you?re at the wrong vodka bar.) They?re known for their home-infused vodka?s, which range from strawberry (my favorite), peach etc. to horseradish, dill etc. for the more daring. You can get their vodkas in heart-shaped carafes (comes in small/large) or your choice of 6 vodkas that come in shot glasses on ice. Their martini?s are also really good for those who can?t stomach vodka straight-up (i.e. sour apple martini, watermelon martini. I would also recommend getting their appetizers as well, which are surprisingly really good bar food with your vodka (i.e. smoked meats platter, cabbage in a phyllo-dough pastry). If possible try to make a reservation, since it gets really packed.
