There are a lot of good and unique restaurants in Nashville. Tayst is not one of them. Don't get me wrong ... it wasn't the worst meal I have ever had. The flavors of the food blended well together and the menu was pretty broad, BUT food portions are TINY, the atmosphere is dull thoughtless and the prices are on the high side. It has snooty vibe for absolutely no reason (theyll practically laugh at you if you try to get a table without a reservation). The dining room is loud, crowded, and lacking any personality and the food is just slightly above average. If you are thinking about dining at Tayst, I would recommend skipping it and trying some on the more unique places in Nashville.
