Being of Indian origin myself, I've sampled just about every Indian restaurant on Pioneer Boulevard in "Little India". When it comes to authentic North Indian Cuisine, nothing else compares to The India Restaurant. The food is superb, particularly the Shahi Paneer and Navratan Korma. The previous reviewer sampled the lunch buffet which, while tasty and a good value, does not compare to the food you order off the menu, as it is over-neutralized for the stereotypical American palette. They have a great variety of dishes, an excellent selection for vegetarians and meat-eaters, the portions are generous, and the service is very good. Don't let the generic name fool you, this restaurant puts out some of the best-tasting Indian food I've ever had- it even compares to some of the finest restaurants I've sampled in India!
