Although the outside appearance where this restaurant is housed can turn away many people, I'm glad we chose to try it. The hallway leading to the restaurant entrance can also make you think twice, but the establishment itself I found to be warm and homey. Quaint I think, although to some it would probably be best described as cramped. The servers dressed in kimono were friendly and they have an extensive menu that I don't even remember. All I know is that we liked the food. The scallop appetizer was succulent, my sushi and nigiri weren't the best, but they were fresh. My husband really enjoyed his mackarel meal and it's a place we wouldn't mind visiting again.
