I had the crown of a dental implant done at Dr. Scurria's office. He was very knowledgable, professional, and highly competent.
He also diagnosed me with bruxism (teeth grinding) and helped me get a nightguard. My teeth had evidence of bruxism for years, yet no other dentist noticed the microfractures and scored marks on the sides of my teeth.
He was also on faculty at the UNC School of Dentistry. I was very pleased to find someone who was competent enough to train other dentists!
Downsides? Dental work isn't cheap, but they take credit cards. The location in RTP isn't terribly convenient, unless you live near there or work near there. But it's still relatively convenient to most of Chapel Hill and Durham.
Pros: Good parking, Convenient to RTP, Friendly staff
