Karma does not go the route of the typical Indian restaurant: it is more lounge and bistro, and even when it offers typical Indian favorites, like Aloo Gobi (wittily called Bend it Like Karma), Chana Masala (called Chole Peshawari) and Butter Chicken (called Punjabi by Nature), it does so with a creative and fresh flair that renews ones conviction in the favorites. At the same time, the restaurant has a menu that presents lovely dishes not typically encountered in Indian restaurants, like the fantastic Moong Dal Halwa. Their excellent Masala Chai tea completes the enjoyable experience. When you go, do have a chat with the warm and friendly owner, who is usually around, and happy to provide recommendations.
Overall even after 3 visits I recommend it great food, hip ambience and a friendly staff.
Pros: Tasty Food, Hip Ambience
