I've lived in Italy, and the food at this place come closer than anything in Pittsburgh to the real thing. Of course, it doesn't hurt if you speak Italian as some of the folks who run the place grew up in Italy. (I often get a smooch on the cheek when I go.) I highly recommend the Melezane (sp?) grilia e mozzarella. This dish takes eggplant to a whole new level. I also recommend the Carpaccio for the brave of heart. (You'll see what I mean when you get there.) They recognize repeat customers and always give personal, yet professional service. And the food really is THAT good--if you are one for simplicity and enjoy the European diet methods. :)
Pros: food, service, ambiance, personality
Cons: parking, sometimes noisy
