After a few weeks of persuading, I finally agreed to try out Donovans for dinner on a Saturday night. The outside of the bar, and even the bar area as you walk through the door, does not do the place justice! Once you get past the bar you see the restaurant is comprised of 3-4 smaller rooms, that are quite tastefully decorated like someone's dining room. The menu is very inexpensive, but the food was out of this world! I had swordfish and my boyfriend had shellsteak, and both were perfectly cooked, as were the side dishes. I would happily have paid twice the price for what we got. The service was also great - we asked for some whipped cream to go with dessert and the waitress actually hand-whipped some fresh cream rather than telling us they had run out of the squirty cream!
Pros: Inexpensive, Great food, Good service
Cons: Crowded
