I went to Carowinds during the Halloween thing they did, called ""Scarowinds"". It was from 7pm to 11 or 12 midnight. It was absolutely the most incredible amusement park experience I've ever had! The roller coasters were open, and the entire park was modified and decorated for Halloween. There were several ""haunted"" rides and trails to experience. It was the best! I'm going back this year.
Pros: incredible atmosphere, fairly cheap, great rides!
Cons: open just a few hours
