Although the Outrigger Waikoloa Beach Marriott isn't as luxurious as, say, the Fairmont Orchid or as big as the Hilton, I liked the size and atmosphere of the hotel. I have to say that my room was a disappointment especially after paying $300/night. Small and very hotel-ish, but with a great view. But what you do get besides views are a nice beach, pools, decent restaurants, and luau. The hotel desk was always painfully slow. I'm not certain that this is a luxury hotel, but I do prefer it over the Disney-like Hilton.
