Gumbo's is a little slice of the french quarter right here in Denver. The decor reminds me of several places I have dined in New Orleans. The service is top-notch.
The crawfish gumbo is well seasoned and very flavorful. The Po-Boys are large and tasty. Many of the dishes look great but are quite rich with cream sauces and fried offerings. Nevertheless, they do bring to mind the flavors of Burbon Street.
I was a little disappointed that the bar could not make me a Sazarac, they didn't know how.
This place gets very crowded on weekend nights so call ahead for reservations.
Pros: Authentic Cajun, Great Decor, Great Service
Cons: Will Clog Arteries, No Sazaracs
