We visited Bayport for the first time yesterday. We definitely will return. We had an excellent Mediterranean 5 course dinner paired with wine that was fabulous. The wines matched the food perfectly.
Each course was presented beautifully and the taste matched the presentation. The portions were just right with 5 courses, there is plenty of food so you go away feeling satisfied not stuffed.
You really need to check out the menu before you decide on making reservations. If the menu does not interest you, check their web site again in a month or so.
If possible, go to dinner during the week. On a Tuesday evening, there were only five or six tables occupied.
The restaurant has a small dining area in a small building just off of Hwy 95. Nice white lined tablecloths, but I would not call it romantic.
They are a member of I-dine.
Pros: Great Food/Wine, Dine during the week
Cons: Average Ambiance, Expensive, Not with kids
