Although it's been there for 5 years I finally stopped in and had lunch. I was pleasantly surprised. The service was cheerful and attentive. Everything on the menu looked good. I decided on the catfish with a side of greens, black-eye peas (rice and gravy came with). I'm happy to have found some down-home cooking without having to travel into Los Angeles proper and Angelena's is open late by valley standards, until 10pm on the weekends! Get your grub on!
