A profoundly uninspiring dining experience. The service was fine if a little self-absorbed. Tables too close together prevented the kind of ambience I like. But the most unsatisfying aspect of 9 Park was THE FOOD. The green salad was soggy. The beet salad w/goat cheese tasted like it was dressed with balsamic vinegar & canola oil. The parsnip soup was bland. The halibut was OK if unimaginative. The lamb WAS quite good, though--but not enough to offset this disappointing meal. We ate the next night at Radius and had an AMAZING meal from start to finish. Radius, Clio, and Rialto both put this place to shame.
Cons: mediocre food
