In the highly competitive world of mortgage brokerages, you'd think Preferred would try harder to satisfy its customers. The person we worked through was unresponsive and informed us the day of closing (which she had already pushed back because she hadn't gathered all the information she needed from us before) that she had somehow processed our loan with 5% down instead of 3% as we had discussed. Do yourself a favor, find a different mortgage broker and don't even call Preferred.
