Whoever thinks this restuarant sells itself as serving authentic Italian food must have paid no attention to what country they were in when they ate there, what language the waiter was speaking, or what language the menu was in. Want authentic Italian food in a quiet little cafe overlooking the palazzo? GO TO ITALY. princeofpugs had it right, this is Italian food as prepared by Southern Italian-Americans. As the grandson of grandparents that got off the boat from San Justino not too long ago, I can tell you this is what ravioli tastes like in America, what stuffed shells taste like in America, and what baked ziti tastes like in America. Don't like it? Tell my grandma, then go to Italy or a northern Italian specialty restaurant. Fun for birthdays, loud as heck, some items are garlicy but otherwise bland. There are meatless items fyi.
