the shag carpets. Seriously. I stayed here when a friend visited from out of town, and although it was a reasonable price, considering that it's right on Sunset, I wasn't impressed. There was no air of luxury - in fact, it was jail chic. Really basic. Yeah, it had a CD player but my seven year old cousin has the exact same one! Most of the people in the bar seemed to think they were the cream of the trendy crowd, and the drinks were yummy, if overpriced. This is the place to eye the hot boys. :)
