I have to say that, even though I now live in Manhatten, I sometimes miss the Old Toad. Its hard to describe what wins you over, but after a couple of visits this pub becomes the place you go when you want to feel comfortable. Friendly people, friendly waitstaff (when you can flag them down), decent beer, decent prices, hey what more can you ask for. There's even quiz night on Mondays (at least it used to be on Mondays) just to start your week out right.
