Wine Down is a nice, classy and friendly place where I always feel welcome and cozy. I love the decor and especially the private booth seating and fireplace / couches area.
At Wine Down, I always get some great wines and food at a decent price and without the elitist attitude and costs that I was starting to think was de rigueur, with wine bars.
I must say, I am saddened by reading some local restaurant reviewers stroke their own fragile egos by discounting Stu's heart felt wine bar efforts with some not-so-nice comments. Cheers to Stu for his motivated efforts in making a fun and welcoming wine bar finally possible - leaving the snide wine bar elitism to the downtown, ultra-luxury SUV crowd.
