The baked goods in Starbucks are never impressive. I also think Starbucks emphasizes the super-sweet coffee-like drinks more than coffee. Their coffee is good, but not good enough to warrant their prices.
It is, also, notoriously preppy!!! If you want to meet a lot of trendy-looking people who think that they're the most sophisticated thing in the midwest, this is the place to be.
The only thing I really like about Starbucks is that it's smoke free and generally fairly quiet and condusive to talking and having conversations. Besides that, it gets an C- in my book.
Pros: Smoke-Free
Cons: Expensive, Mediocre Baked Goods, Preppy/Trendy People
