Chicago's is not glamorous or especially romantic. Don't go there for ""fusion cuisine."" However, for basic food done very well at an excellent value, you can't go wrong. Steaks, veal, shrimp and fish are all excellent. The accompanying salad is fresh and cold, if not innovative. We love the small croissants! Service is friendly with no ""attitude"" that is common is ""finer dining."" My favorite neighborhood restaurant.
Pros: value, great food, service
Cons: smoking allowed
