The Flying fish is a lively restaurant that consistently serves up good but not exceptional sea food. I've tried many of the other Seattle seafood restaurants and flying fish is better than many - although often the best seafood in Seattle is found in non seafood restaurants. The portions are small (although the platters are good for sharing) and the scene is very much a 'hip' belltown scene with service attitude etc that go with it. The prices are relatively high and food or atmosphere don't come close to Vancouver seafood notables such as the 'C' (although nothing else I've tried in Seattle does)
Pros: good food, late night, lively atmosphere
Cons: portions, good not superb food
