A friend and I dined at the Capital Grille on a early Sunday evening. I ordered the serloin and my friend ordered the filet. Aside from the serloin not being tender, I left half of it on my plate due to grizzle and fat. The filet was over done, tastless and also not tender like a dry aged piece of meat should be. The waiter never returned during the meal to ask how the food was. When I asked for the check he could plainly see that there was a large portion of meat left on both of our plates. I had to tell him we were not happy the the meal. His only comment was he was sorry we did not enjoy the food. I realize that a bad steak can happen, but two bad steaks and poor service was enough for me.
