Tantra claims to be a restaurant with exotic Middle Eastern decor, sensual music and serving aphrodisiac cuisine; focusing on maximizing all of the five senses sound, sight, smell, touch and of course taste.
Although it does try, it doesnt quite live up to the hype. Although the music was good, the decor funky, I wouldnt classify the cuisine to be more aphrodisiac compared to most places. Instead what you will find is with the theme comes a very nice price tag. Seared tuna will run you about $40 and a steak at least $60.
Also, our dinner experience was maximized by the sight and sound of the squeaking bathroom door which opens every so often allowing diners in the intimate room a bright view right into the stalls. Nothing quite like it will enhance the aphrodisiac experience!
