Japanese touches to the French cuisine really pleased our palates. Everything we had was superb -- seafood appetizer consisting of 5 different sushi-size concoctions. Mixed green salad. A white bean soup (served over tender veal). Entrees of steak (almost melts in the mouth) w/ subtle wasabi flavoring and sea bass w/ matsutake sauce. Plus desserts of Yuzu Tart and Mille Feulle. The experience was superb albeit more pricey than the kinds of places we normally frequent. Expect to spend $15 for an appetizer and $30-$40 for entrees. $10 or more for a glass of wine. The wife says we should go back monthly (yeah, right).
It was the perfect place to spend our anniversary. The only problem is that I won't be able to top it next year!
