I recently attended Benihana's on a Saturday evening for a bachelorette dinner we had. The restaurant was packed and our party of 6 did not make reservations prior to arriving and they were still able to seat us very promptly. The chef at our table was quiet and ninja-like and performed well and marveled us with his tricks with the food. However, the quality of the food just didn't cut it. The sushi was not fresh and the drinks were watered down. I don't know about you--but the presentation doesn't mean anything to me, unless the quality is just as good. I would not recommend this place for a dinner of economical value. Go for the show if you have never been there before, but it is definitely not a restaurant to patronize often--especially if your budget is tight.
Pros: Chefs=entertaining, Wide variety of food
Cons: Overpriced, Too crowded at times, Sushi not fresh
