The permanent collection is great, but it is even better to see the special exhibits. They have 5-6 different ones each year! I love the art, but the best time to be there is the first thursday of every month for the monthly happy hour, ""LoweDown at the Lowe""! There is free wine sampling and cocktails, music, hors douvres, and it is a great place to meet people and mingle. I highly recommend becoming a member to avoid the $5 cover and go to all the events for free!!
