we arrived almost at closing time, so we were able to get a table right away, plus the fact that it was off season helped. the restaurant has opened in the mid 40s, which adds to its charm. the seafood chowder special was awesome. the crepe i ordered with goat cheese and portabella mushroom was good - but the ingredients weren't mixed - at first i was impressed by the amount of goat cheese in it - until i realized -- being left with only the mushroom was a bit disappointing. my girlfriend ordered the ham and cheese crepe which was very good. i can't wait for our next trip to the vineyard to go back to the artcliff diner!
