I've been to the store to buy aquarium products a few times now and have not been overly impressed. No information is included when buying fish (ie. temprament, temp. specifications, size, pH requirements). Also, the condition of their stock has been rather poor several times when I've been in with dead fish floating in the tanks. I was also rather unimpressed with my last order of brine shrimp which already had a foul smell and were half dead in the bag. I don't think the staff are particularly knowledgable (though there are usually enough around which is nice) and the prices are somewhat steap. Overall, one would be better heading up Wilshire to the Petco (and that's not saying much) or better yet heading over to Alan's Aquariums on Lincoln Blvd. in Venice.
