i don't know about anyone else, but i go to a steak house for the STEAK!!. there is none finer than lugars. I have been going there for over 30 years. most recently to the one on long island (for those who need a litte more ambiance). the steak sauce does suck, but only a novice would attempt to use anything but salt on such a fine piece of meat. blows away all of the competition (and i have been everywhere). end of story!.
Pros: great steak, bacon, schlag (just ask)
Cons: hard to get in, ordinary sides, short wine list
