The only time I go to Black Angus is when I have a coupon because the place is quite pricey.
I have had the prime rib lunch numerous times and I have been very satisfied with the meal. The prime rib has always been tender and moist. The veggies have consistently been cooked just right (not too mushy, not too hard), and the loaf of wheat/oat bread has always been fresh and warm. All portions are generous for lunch.
The service has been consistently prompt.
I would suggest using coupons that come out almost every Sunday in the Tribune for Black Angus, otherwise I don't know that the prices are worth what you receive.
Pros: vzst menu, hearty portions, good service
Cons: expensive, expensive, lots of old people
