I went to Tejas for dinner Saturday night, on a recommendation from a friend. I don't know what this friend was thinking by giving it a good review. The menu is small, and everything is ala carte-- as in dinners don't come with any sides. Our bill for 2 people was well over $50 with tip, which is fine at most other restaurants, but for a small pork tenderloin with no side dish (just the meat), cold cheese filled ravioli, and 2 sodas, it's horrible. That's right-- no appetizer, no dessert, no sides, and no drinks for $50-- and 2 still-hungry customers. The service was nothing to brag about, and the atmosphere was ok, except for the tables are so close together there is no privacy. To sum things up, there are many options in the metro-- and even quite a few in this area-- take your $50 somewhere else!
